DYSLEXIA: What Teachers Need to Know
Please join us for an informational workshop with guest speaker Katie Squires, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BCS-CL.
Dr. Squires is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who specializes in child language and literacy. During this workshop, she will define literacy, describe how reading and language relate, and discuss dyslexia. She will highlight common indicators of dyslexia at various ages. You will learn techniques and strategies to support struggling students in the classroom and more.
We will follow up with a 1-hour Q&A with our panel of dyslexia specialists and parents to answer your questions. Please email questions you would like addressed to arizona.ida@gmail.com.
This no-cost workshop is geared towards Parents, Educators, SLP’s, College Students—anyone interested in learning about and supporting students with Dyslexia.
