As a board we are committed in our efforts to increase awareness and education of what dyslexia is and how it impacts people. We strive to create a foundation for parents, teachers, and schools with effective programs and strategies to support individuals with dyslexia.
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for our qualifying members. We want to offer dyslexic kiddos the opportunity to enjoy reading! Starting October 15, 2018, all qualifying, current and new members will be receiving access to Learning Ally (a $135 value!)
Learning Ally’s library contains over 80,000 human-read audio-books including literature, pop fiction, and textbooks that students will want and need to read. Voicetext technology makes it easy to follow along by highlighting words as they read, creating an immersive reading experience. Best yet, Learning Ally offers reluctant readers the opportunity to develop a love for reading and to succeed in their social and emotional development.
Learning Ally empowers students who read and learn differently so that they may thrive!
We want you to be able to see how Learning Ally is different from others, so here is a link which allows you to hear our human-read audio paired with highlighted text for grade levels 3-12, from the student perspective. http://engage.learningally.org/Link_VoiceTEXT_Demo/
